In a significant development, Kaynes Technology, an electronics manufacturing company headquartered in Mysuru, has unveiled its plans to construct a cutting-edge semiconductor assembly parts and testing facility, along with a state-of-the-art printed circuit board (PCB) unit on the outskirts of Mysuru.
The Managing Director of Kaynes Technology, Ramesh Kannan, formalized this strategic initiative by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Industries Commissioner Gunjan Krishna. The ceremony took place in the esteemed presence of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and IT/BT Minister Priyank Kharge, both of whom have been instrumental in promoting technological advancements within the state.
With a strong track record of collaborating on Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) projects, Kaynes Technology has made significant contributions to the Chandrayaan-3 mission. Notably, the company has been a key supplier of power packages crucial for energizing the mission’s vital lander and rover components.
This new venture stands as a testament to Kaynes Technology’s commitment to fostering electronics manufacturing within the region and its integral role in advancing India’s space exploration endeavors.
